Representatives from the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta are looking for a few good volunteers.
Greg Brown from the museum recently talked to ILHS seniors about all the opportunities available at the facility which celebrates the heritage of space exploration and Wapak native Neil Armstrong as the first man to walk on the moon. He explained that any young person interested in flying, restoration, engineering, science, geology, education and more could gain valuable experience by joining their team.
Current ILHS Senior Dylan Carter is already a volunteer tour guide and docent.
He says, "I've met people from NASA, people who've worked on the space program and people from all over the world. It's really been a great time!"
Internships are also available. Any interested student should contact Brown at (419)738-8811 or
