The Indian Lake High School SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) members have placed boxes at each of the district’s buildings for you to deposit gently used or new shoes. We are not asking you to go out and buy anything, but rather donate what you have around the house! Shoe sizes from infant through adult, sandals, cleats, boots, any type of foot covering are being accepted. The shoes should be gently used or like new with no rips, holes, or water damage, and no soles coming off. SADD will earn money based on the number of pounds of footwear we collect. 
The footwear will be sent to developing countries like Haiti, Uganda, and India where micro-entrepreneurs use the shoes collected in North American fundraisers for their businesses. The collected footwear provides inventory for micro-businesses around the world, which helps create economic sustainability. This means survival for
