Students in Zack Dunn's ILHS science classes are learning some super cool stuff!
In a graphing lab, Mr. Dunn cooled water in water bottles down below the freezing point without it freezing.
Students were graphing the temperature of the water bath (in degrees Celsius) vs. time (in minutes) and Mr. Dunn recorded that temperature every five minutes after adding the water.
Then Mr. Dunn disturbed the water slightly by hitting it on the counter and the whole bottle of water instantly froze. Students were amazed when he began pouring the water into a student volunteer's hand and it froze on contact.
