
ILHS honored hundreds of students dedicated to leadership, service and scholastic success during the annual 2025-26 Awards Assembly held recently in the high school auditorium.
In a highlight of the program, senior Owen Kaser was presented with two special awards. The first was the Principal's Laker Award for his many years of cheering on every Laker team loudly and proudly from the sidelines. Wagner presented him with a Laker Super Fan sign.
In addition, a representative from the State Support Team Region 6 presented Kaser with the R.A. Horn Outstanding Achievement Award. Owen was nominated by the Indian Lake Administration for "embodying the Spirit of a Laker."
Seniors Olivia Hurley, Augusta Biederman and Evie Wagner were given the Principal's Award for Service.
And finally, Mrs. Keykens and Mrs. Beale were presented with Outstanding Service Awards for their years of service to ILHS as they retire.
Principal Kyle Wagner praised students for their hard work and thanked parents for their dedication to their students' success.
Students were recognized for honor roll, perfect attendance, leadership, donating blood, academic excellence in subject areas and more.
