The Indian Lake SADD Chapter and SRO Brenner are teaming up to make sure young people buckle up!
SADD held a brief assembly recently to remind students to make good choices, especially during Prom and Graduation season and into summer. Students came on stage to play the “quick click” challenge—a game to reinforce using your seatbelts. They also played the “chip game” using different color chips to answer questions about what they consider safe or unsafe behaviors.
SRO Brenner followed up the next morning by performing a seat belt check as cars entered the ILHS student parking lot. Those wearing their seatbelts got a free dessert coupon from McDonalds. Those not buckled got a stern reminder.
