The ILHS Class of 2026 earned 222 local monetary awards totaling $380,000 during the recent annual Scholarship Night.
All the money awarded was either raised or specially set aside locally for area student scholarships. Individual scholarships earned through a student's chosen academic institution are not included in the night's total.
One highlight of the evening was the presentation of the first ever Indian Lake Volleyball Scholarships. Later this year, the IL Volleyball program will celebrate 50 years of competing in a special event that is currently in the works. The first ever scholarship recipients were Makenna Hurley, Annie Rapp, Riley Ross and Lilly Wickline.
A total of 41 ILHS Seniors received awards at the event. They are: Myiah Ankrom, Daric Barth, Augusta Biederman, Mara Bihn, Dani Braun, Weston Campbell, Addison Castle, Matthew Culp, Joslyn Cummins, Kora Fulkerson, Cooper Hall, Abby Hangholt, Gavin Henry, Hailey Hoffman, Makenna Hurley, Olivia Hurley, Blake Jackson, Hannah Johnson, Xavier Johnson, Titus Kelly, Alex Kinney, Franklin Kinney, Lilianah Mackesy, Rylynn Matthews, Maddison Miller, Avery Pequignot, Alyssa Powell, Annie Rapp, Reagan Rash, Kade Richardson, Riley Ross, Kennedy Schwaderer, Riley Shaner, Noah Shirk, Aidan Stinebaugh, Carly Strayer, Caleb Timms, Chloe Wade, Evie Wagner, Cambrie Warnecke and Lilly Wickline.
All scholarship recipients will be designated at ILHS Graduation Ceremonies on Friday, May 22nd at 7 pm.
