
Indian Lake High School students who will be eligible to vote in the 2025 General Election and beyond learned why they should during a special presentation. Logan County Board of Elections Deputy Director Adam Brannon recently spoke to the group about how young people can makes a difference when it comes to elections.
He said, "You may say "hey, I don't like these people running' or 'I do like this particular
person running and I want to support him." When you participate by voting you get to express that opinion, you get to change how things are run."
During the presentation, students who are 18 years old registered to be able to vote in the General Election on November 4th. The voter registration deadline for this spring is October 6th.
Finally, Brannon spoke to the students about the opportunity to become poll workers.
