Karen Cordova
Originally from the Cleveland area, I earned both my bachelor's in combined science and my master's in curriculum from Youngstown State University. I started my teaching career at Canfield High School in Mahoning County teaching chemistry and physics while coaching cross country and track. I later taught methods courses at Youngstown State University. For 10 years I taught earth science, physical science, life science, oceanography, and chemistry at Boardman High School. While there, I spent half the day co-teaching with the special education department to service IEP and ESL students. I joined Indian Lake in 2020 when my husband's career relocated us to the area.
