Senior Meeting to Start the Year

Members of the ILHS Senior Class of 2026 gathered at the start of school to highlight important dates and lay out expectations for their final year of high school.
All seniors met with ILHS Guidance Counselor Greg Tuttle and Principal Kyle Wagner recently.
Mr. Tuttle touched on important dates involving college visits, FAFSA, college deadlines, armed forces lunch visits, ACT information and scholarship deadlines.
He also encouraged them to be seriously thinking about what comes after high school. Tuttle said, "If you have an inclination of what you want to do, talk with the people in the
field. If you want to be a teacher, talk with a teacher here that you like and respect. If you don't think you want to go to college, let's
talk to some folks who work in a factory.
Parents are a great resource, as well. "
Mr. Wagner urged the seniors to leave their legacy at Indian Lake by setting a good example for the underclassmen. He encouraged them to start by cleaning up, not only the student section after contests, but by helping pick up the entire gym or stadium to show respect for our facilities.
Each senior will meet with counselors in the next fews weeks to continue working toward graduation requirements, their 3 E choice and beyond.

Jostens Visit: October 14th
FAFSA Night: November 3rd 5-6:30 pm at ILHS
Scholarship Meeting: January 8th during Laker Time
ILHS Common Form Scholarship Packet Due: February 13th
Scholarship Night: May 11th at 6:30 pm
Graduation: May 22nd at 7 pm
